Golf tournaments are great ways for charities, schools and other organizations to raise money for their causes, but these tournaments require an enormous amount of preparation. Fear not, help is on the way!

The Golf Tournament Association of America (GTAA) will present a FREE educational program that helps these groups take their golf tournament to the next level. The program will be held at the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head Island, S.C. on Friday, May 29 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Palmetto Dunes Conference Center, with lunch and optional golf to follow.

The program will cover topics, such as Getting the Best Golf Course, Recruiting and Training Volunteers, Selling Major Sponsors, Filling Your Field with Golfers, and much more. In addition, Phil Immordino, GTAA chairman and author of How to Produce a Successful Golf Tournament, will be the featured speaker.
