Have you heard about the new longest golf course in the world? TheAussieGolfer recently blogged about the opening of the Nullarbor Links course, which is set to open in October.

The course is located in Nullarbor Plain, “a vast, flat area of the Australian outback stretching across the states of Western Australia and South Australia,” he says.

So exactly how long is the world’s longest course? Well, the 18-hole, par-72 golf course will span 1,365 kilometers. They have planned it so there is one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, which stretches from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia.

The course owners estimate it will take approximately four days to play through the course, that is, of course, depending on how quickly you want to play.
