Have you seen the Wilhelmina campaign with LPGA players dressed in bikinis? It’s created quite a stir in golf!

As part of the campaign, several LPGA pros teamed up with the modeling agency Wilhelmina Models to create the Wilhelmina seven, seven LPGA players dressed in bikinis. Wilhelmina says it is hoping to create enough buzz to attract corporate dollars.

Golf.com recently begged the question “Is marketing the sex appeal of LPGA golfers good for the game?”

Not everyone in the LPGA is on board with this campaign for sure, as three veteran players have already spoken out, but all were off the record, so as not to offend their colleagues. One player commented, “Why do we have to take our clothes off to get noticed?”

Bob Aube, the W7′s manager defends the move by saying, “People say this is demeaning to female athletes. Those fat old guys riding around in golf carts and chomping cigars on the Champions tour are playing for more money than the LPGA players. That’s demeaning to female athletes!”

Check out some of the photos and tell us what you think.
