Golfers like to express who they are, through their clothing, their clubs, their friends — and apparently their golf carts! Custom golf carts are in high demand, and they just keep getting wilder, with luxury carts comprised of Hummers and Cadillac Escalades with 16″ chrome wheels.

A line of “tricked out” golf carts was even introduced at the New York International Auto Show! Although Escalades and Hummers were the featured carts at the show, other models like doorless replicas of antique cars, such as the 1932 Ford Roadster, are very popular. The carts are designed by Unique Golf Cars, and have a top speed of about 45 miles per hour.

Brent Kelley, of About.com, is asking readers to submit photos of customized golf carts that show off their owner’s personality. He says “Are you one of those golfers who owns his or her own golf cart? If so, then you might also be one of those golfers with a tricked-out, souped-up, or otherwise customized golf cart.” So, if you have done any work to your golf cart, share with the rest of us!
